Health, Fitness, and Nutrition Addiction

Published by aidenofthetower at 9:19 pm under My Story Edit This

For some time now I have been one that reads a lot on health, fitness, and nutrition. I love studying it all and through these studies I have come up with a lot of opinions on the matter of health, fitness, nutrition, and even weight loss. With all these theories and ideas going around in my head you would think that it would be easy for me to loose weight. After all, I have very specific opinions about how it can be and should be done.

However, what it boils down to is that I am addicted to the learning and academic part of it. Actually putting it into practice leads me back to the excuses that are so easy to lean on. In particular I am a very busy woman with two young kids, a husband, a household, dinner to cook, and work to be done (I am a work from home mom). All of this means that I fall into the group along with thousands (if not more) of others. We are the busy people. I know what I should do and what I shouldn’t do, but I am trapped in this “I am too busy” type of mentality. Right now I probably am too busy since my work has been keeping me up because I am using what would normally be work time to pack (we are moving in a week and a half).

My current plan is to begin what I know is right as soon as we are a little bit settled into our new life in our new home. Of course it isn’t always that easy! But I need to be more then just addicted to the research aspect of it all!
